NEWS REACTION VIDEO

React to News Articles Online

KIPZO lets you take a public news or article URL, turn the available story information into a clean reaction preview and record your own camera and commentary alongside it. That means you can move from “I want to react to this story” to a recording layout without rebuilding the article by hand.

Quick answer

Open KIPZO Trends, paste a public article URL into “React to your own story,” load the preview and press React now. KIPZO sends the story into Studio, where you can add your camera and microphone, resize or move your facecam, optionally remove the camera background and record the reaction.

How to react to a news article in KIPZO

1. Find the original story

Use a public article page from the publisher or website you want to discuss. Reading the original source first helps you understand the story beyond the headline.

2. Paste the article URL

Open KIPZO Trends and paste the link into the custom story box. KIPZO checks the page for usable public article metadata.

3. Preview the story

Where available, KIPZO can use the publisher name, headline, description, image, author, section, publish date and selected preview text.

4. Send it to Studio

Press React now to turn the preview into the main source area in KIPZO Studio.

5. Add yourself

Connect your camera and microphone. Move and resize your host window, or remove the camera background for a cutout-style reaction.

6. Record and review

Record your commentary, then play the result back before exporting or publishing it.

What information can KIPZO pull from an article?

Different publishers expose different public metadata. When it is available, KIPZO can use information such as the article headline, publisher, image, description, author, section, date, topics and a limited preview/excerpt. Some websites expose only a title and image; others provide richer structured data.

If a website blocks automated preview access or does not expose usable metadata, KIPZO may show less information. The original webpage remains the authoritative source.

News reaction video layouts

Article first

Keep the story preview large and place yourself as a smaller movable overlay. This works well when viewers need to read the headline and see the source image.

Background-removed host

Remove the camera background and place your cutout over unused space on the article card. This keeps the screen cleaner than a large rectangular webcam box.

Portrait reactions

Use 9:16 when the final video is intended for Shorts, Reels or other vertical feeds. Resize the host so the headline and summary remain readable.

Landscape commentary

Use 16:9 when you want more room for the source and your commentary, especially for longer YouTube-style discussion.

Reacting to news responsibly

A reaction should add your own commentary rather than simply repeat the article. Check the original source, distinguish facts from your interpretation and correct mistakes when you find them. For contested current-affairs stories, it is especially useful to identify what the source actually reports before giving your own view.

Copyright and publisher terms also vary. A public webpage is not automatically free to republish in full. KIPZO's article workflow is designed around a limited reaction preview and a link back to the original source rather than copying the entire page.

Use live trends or bring your own story

You do not have to wait for KIPZO's live feed to surface the exact topic you want. The custom URL box is useful for local stories, niche industry news, gaming articles, technology reviews, sports coverage and other public pages you discover elsewhere.

If you want topic inspiration first, use Trending Topics for Reaction Videos or open KIPZO Trends directly.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste a news article URL into KIPZO?

Yes. Public http/https article pages can be loaded through the custom story box when KIPZO can read their exposed preview metadata.

Can I react to a webpage without downloading it?

Yes. For supported article pages, KIPZO creates a reaction preview from public webpage metadata instead of asking you to download the page first.

Does KIPZO copy the full article?

No. The workflow uses a limited preview and article metadata. The original source link remains available.

Can I remove my webcam background?

Yes. In the Trends reaction flow you can enable background removal for the host camera, then move and resize yourself over the story card.
